how to find a carpool

for a more relaxed and comfortable commute

Wouldn't it be nice to know more about the person you are driving with before agreeing to sit in traffic with him every day? Emma™ makes that fast and easy by letting potential car buddies share and view Facebook profile information. To start, you can either scan other postings or create your own.

1. Scan What's Out There

  • From the Scan screen, simply search for "Carpool."
  • Like what you see? Get more information about it!
  • Nothing catching your eye? Time to make your own listing!

OR Make Your Own Post

  • Go to the "Transportation and Freight" category and then select the "By Ground" subcategory.
  • Provide details for your listing like where you want to go, when you want to go, and your driving buddy. Add photos and notes to your listing if need be!
  • Set the level of profile information you need to see from bidders. You control who sees your listing and exactly what you need from potential carpools.

Either way, you're on the path to finding the perfect carpool!

2. Find the Right Person

  • Find the right person by "trading" profile information with or viewing profile details for potential carpools.
  • Share more of your own profile information by using the "Send" button.
  • Ask for more details or information using the "Message" button.

  • Like what you see in an existing listing? Bid on it!
  • Like what you see in an existing bid? Accept it!
  • Now you have a closed contract with a great riding buddy!
